** BIO **
Cortex Power (real name Andrey Zarubin) is a DJ, producer, remixer from Saint Petersburg, Russia.

His career as a producer started in 2018. Having achieved his first successes in styles such as synthpop, disco and house, dives into studio work to produce his first album and remixes. It was these directions that laid the foundation for his taste. Memorable synthpop melodies, disco dance rhythms, special atmosphere in every song - all this describes the musician's work in the best possible way.

The endless love for the music of the 80s, instilled by his parents from childhood, gave him recognisable by fans outlines in tracks and remixes, and cooperation and friendship with many musicians and labels of the world, as well as the presence of fresh and unreleased material make him one of the most promising musicians of his direction.

Cortex Power's tracks and remixes are played all over the world, appearing on European and American radio stations, digital storefronts, charts of the biggest electronic music sites (Beatport, Traxsource, Juno) and in the major thematic playlists of the main streaming services of the planet, and also regularly collect flattering reviews both from already recognised masters of electronic music (Ladies On Mars, Color Theory, Clavette, Monsieur van Pratt, Elektrik Disko, Discotron, Paolo Bardelli) and from tens of thousands of listeners.

On this weeks Disco Waltons Sunday Service we have The Boss Li McHugh on hosting duties for the 1st hr. I'm sure she will be bringing us a great selection of eclectic grooves and disco bangers. Li has always had a great ear for good music. So it was only right that she would have to start spinning the tracks and mixing it up herself and that all started last year and Li hasn't looked back, she has taken to it like a duck to water and smashed every mix since her debut outing last year. 
On Guest duties in hr2 this week we have London based DJ, Ian Perry.
Ian has played with some of the biggest names in the scene including including Dave Lee, Norman Jay MBE, Dimitri from Paris, Shapeshifters, Crazy P, Cj Macintosh and Michael Gray. We were delighted to have Ian on the show, and we're sure you’re going to love his guest mix for the Disco Waltons.
