The Alchemystics- Dance Upon The Corner ICCULUS REMIX 2.0

This one has been a long time coming. A breezy and warm chill out soul type number. I started it with a spectacular drummer and musician by the name of Demse Zullo. He died quite suddenly and it became difficult to gather the nerve to work on it sometimes. The sample is Prince which I put in the track previous to his death and certainly made it feel even more next worldly and compelled me to finish it. Zach Stadelmaier on guitar, Shua Le Rosberg on keys, and Brian King on trumpet, me on additional production, alto and baritone sax.

DJ ICCULUS - The Tundra Tape #6

DJ, Turntablist, Producer, Sax Player. Started getting into DJ'ing around 1999-2000, inspired by breakbeats, turntablism and open format / mash up artists like Coldcut, Girl Talk, and DJ Z-Trip then being intrigued by the sounds of bass music- dubstep, trap, and glitch hop while always having an affinity for funk and hip hop gave way to the mix of sounds. After being a member of the band The Romano Project as a turntablist, I realized I might be able to remember how to play the saxophone I had as an additional contribution; so there started to be a saxophone next to my dj setup. Got into production soon after and joined the William Thompson Funk Experiment later which further influenced me. I love pretty much all styles of music and try to keep the dj sets like a journey through genres based on funk, fun, beauty, darkness, light & bass music.
