The Baker Beach Editions (of the West Florida Takeover w/dr_anderson) are a salute to foundational events in the SF Bay Area, where DJs took acid house and gave it a deep house soul. There were legendary parties and sightings in that part of the county in the early 1990s, including a group hallucination of a UFO encounter during a beach rave party.

dr_anderson was a visiting interstellar life form at UC Berkeley during this era, and bought his first vinyl records at Daddy's in Berkeley, CA, USA, EARTH. This mix series is an attempt to put that deep, acidy, funky spirit of the SF Bay Area into a breakbeat and electro body.
