Music was, is and always will be the backbone of his beliefs. As a child he was introduced to the gift of sound. Whether it was one perfectly placed note in a solo, a string of notes painting a haunting melody or a quartet of gospel singers in perfect harmony over piano, the foundation was laid. It was laid by family and friends and along with it, as he grew up, the asphalt streets, hour glass shaped beaches and culture clash of sun drenched Southern California would shape who he's become today. In an effort to express just how powerful these influences were, he would pick up a guitar and interpret through music what the conversations would sound like if you had them with the almighty himself. Today, not only does he still use that guitar as an instrument of dialogue but he also uses the unlimited power of DJing to reach out, grab any available sound whether it's in his backyard or a million miles away in a space, as long as it has the ability to dive deep down inside and remind you what it truly means to be alive.

He's played, in one form or another, alongside the likes of Sublime, Korn, Tantric, Unwritten Law, Pennywise, Offspring, Black Uhuru, The Melodians, Long Beach Dub All Stars, and the list goes on. As much as his life has influenced him, he has influenced those who have played alongside, stood in front of or witnessed via any audio/visual medium just as much.

As well rounded as they come when it comes to being a musician, this gentleman forces you to appreciate and respect the gift of having the opportunity…to live in this world!
