Considering the long history we share with Tony Vegas and Prime Cuts, an extended show from the duo has most certainly been a long time coming and it's fully certified to deliver a very, very special experience. Like we said back in July, when the duo shared their ultimate Detroit influenced picks with us, Scratch Perverts are a name synonymous with fresh cuts and quality music; their slick fix of different genres presented in their own veritable style has long been the key ingredient in a solid music formula that's already helped present their stringent ability on the decks and their deep dedication to the craft as a whole to the world.

Each show was designed to illuminate the listener to different facets of my career up until that point. I basically had three hours to bring people up to speed so that the new album had context. At one point they asked me what I was going to name it, and I had a funny picture of a guy in my phone, so I used his image and added the hashtag '#Radioface,' for whatever reason. The Essential Mix is a weekly radio show on BBC Radio 1 currently broadcast between 0:00 - 2:00 AM UK time on Saturday morning. Originally broadcast on 30 October 1993, the Essential Mix features contemporary DJs and music producers of electronic dance music. The show has been presented since its inception by Pete Tong and features an uninterrupted two-hour mix from a different artist each week, overlaid with occasional continuity announcements delivered by Tong. With a broadcast run in excess of 25 years, the Essential Mix is one of the longest-running programmes in the current BBC Radio 1 schedule, and is one of very few Radio 1 shows which is not broadcast live.
