DJ Joshua

My next guest is DJ Joshua from Portugal, who brings a solid dubby installment with many wellknown appreciated producers from the scene in it. DJ Joshua started mixing around 1994/1995. At that time, he also collaborated on local radio shows on electronic music and performed at parties organized together with friends. In those days, while following the beginning and growth of the dance scene in Portugal, his interest in this type of sound and in the development of this culture became increasingly greater.
As his taste for these sounds and the art of djing was always intense, after being away from "mixes" for a long period for various reasons, he returned in 2007 through the creation of an online podcast under the name " Floating Beats Sessions”. This podcast ended up being extended and giving rise to two radio shows broadcast weekly on several online radios across the globe that cover different genres of electronic music.
Nowadays he regularly collaborates as a guest DJ on several podcast series around the world and maintains some series of mixes designed by himself for specific genres.
In 2023 he decided to explore the world of production in more depth way and founded in January of 2024 JFLM Recordings to release his own tracks made by himself through different aliases (Joshua Marian / K-Joshua / Joshua Fernand / Joshua Onairam). He also has several Eps released by labels such as Soul SND, Crossfade Sounds, Piranha Siberia Dub, Slope Point, Techenie Records, Moiss Music, Bassment Tapes, HDRLimit, Back To The Beat Rec, Electric Eden Records, Groove Tag, SUEVI Rec, Microgarden Lab and more new stuff coming out soon.
Always everything made with a lot of soul, a lot of commitment and love for electronic music.

DJ Joshua started mixing around 1994/1995. At that time, he also collaborated on local radio shows on electronic music and performed at parties organized together with friends. In those days, while following the beginning and growth of the dance scene in Portugal, his interest in this type of sound and in the development of this culture became increasingly greater.
As his taste for these sounds and the art of djing was always intense, after being away from "mixes" for a long period for various reasons, he returned in 2007 through the creation of an online podcast under the name " Floating Beats Sessions”. This podcast ended up being extended and giving rise to two radio shows broadcast weekly on several online radios across the globe that cover different genres of electronic music. 
Nowadays he regularly collaborates as a guest DJ on several podcast series around the world and maintains some series of mixes designed by himself for specific genres. He is also an "archaeologist" and a "studious" on the history and evolution of global electronic music, as well as a connoisseur and collector of mixes from various other DJs.
In 2023 he decided to explore the world of production in more depth way and founded in January of 2024 JFLM Recordings to release his own tracks made by himself through different aliases (Joshua Marian / K-Joshua / Joshua Fernand / Joshua Onairam). He also has several Eps released by labels such as Soul SND, Crossfade Sounds, Piranha Siberia Dub, Slope Point, Techenie Records, Moiss Music, Bassment Tapes, HDRLimit, Back To The Beat Rec, Electric Eden Records, Groove Tag, SUEVI Rec, Microgarden Lab and more new stuff coming out soon.
