I made this edit while I was on a plane heading to my gigs for Miami Music Week in March 2025. The day prior to me leaving , my brother Peter Aces asked me to ID the vocal , he couldn’t remember who the original artists were. Sometimes I’m like a human version of Shazam, I knew what track it was right away after he sent me the lyrics .  As I sat on the plane I couldn’t get The Rapture by Black Coffee out of my head, so I broke out my laptop, I extracted the acapella from the Original version of Rain (produced by Oscar G) .. and I edited the vocal over the The Rapture while adding a few little tweaks of my own to make the track stand out a bit … it was pure magic and the crowds reaction solidified the whole idea and made it into a true summer weapon for me that I tend to play a lot over this summer coming… so here you go , here’s my edit of rain vs the rapture .

Summon is a new release from JÏMONO and NATASHA MD which embraces a message of respecting and listening to elder wisdom on the journey of life. 

The lyrics beautifully sung by NATASHA MD are based on the Zulu proverb ‘Isala kutshelwa’, imparting a message that if we choose not to listen to wise advice, we will face the consequences - eventually learning through painful experience. 

We all have a journey awaiting that can bring great things, and it is up to us as individuals to listen to the wisdom from those who have walked their own paths before us, in order to summon what we each have to offer to the world from within.
