Exactly Last year ya boi got into some trouble. Changed my whole aspect of life around going through it in 2024. With that trouble involved a lot of punishment towards my day to day, my pocket$, and forced to be sober. At the beginning, things were looking very bleak but I turned these negatives into positives by applying the change I had to make a better way of thinking and living. I didn't realize that the lifestyle with drinking that I've been rocking this whole time didn't really help with the problems and feelings I always dealt with. Instead, these habits would just be distractions from the actual issues I would deal personally. Going sober for a year really helped me see my feelings and issues in a different light. I felt clear minded and actually saw that everything I did before is nothing different from when I am sober. Seeing the same outcome really gave me a push of just taking matter into my own hands and actually making changes only for me. During this year of change came a lot of emotions of anxiety, depression, boredom, loneliness, and disconnection. What picked me up from those emotions was just messing around with music and little DJ apps to focus my mind away from those feelings. Friends and DJ homies always told me I had an ear for mashups or blends and I actually took the time to try to make it happen. I just like silly mash ups of songs that you wouldn't think to pair or world play type shii. I noticed I liked to pick the indie joints to play with or the sad shii that makes me think of past relationships. I made so many mashups/blends over the year just cuz I went through so much, I convinced myself and with the encouragement of friends to make a mix of all of them (mixed emotions). Love Hangovers is all of the mixed feeling and vulnerability that I went through in 2024 with some silly tracks on it just to have fun. It is the only way I can relate to being drunk anymore. this mix represents a yearning for something that you feel isn't obtainable or only happens in dreams. Having this kind of "crush" is just a never ending hangover, where you just wish it would be over and you can move on in the day. Thank you for taking the time to read this and hearing me out on something I've made so dramatic but in reality is just a little slap on the wrist and a good life lesson. Currently, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and this punishment and whatever Im going through is staying in 2024.

Greetings friends and welcome back!

We want to thank you all so much for coming back and tapping in, we know that our schedule has been a little less consistent but we do appreciate you coming back and giving us a chance to perhaps be your day to days soundtrack.

On this special episode we welcomed our next guest JOSEWILL. 

JOSEWILL is a DJ and curator out of Central Valley, CA. His love for music began in the early to mid 2000’s when he would visit nearby LA on the weekends to enjoy Beat shows hosted by tastemakers like low end theory, stones throw and Soulection. His music selection ranges anywhere from House, to R&B with a touch of futurebeats and so much more.

I became a fan of JOSEWILL through his mix series called “FEEL ME” a carefully crafted mix series full of soulful and innovative selections. You can find it on his personal account at @jwillsng. And be sure to check out the radio show he runs at @4uandi

Without further ado, allow me to set the stage for this incredible mix he put together for us today. At around the 20 minute mark - he starts off his mix with some fire drum n bass and then goes into some house and soulful edits to end his mix.
