Peter van Dongen and Ollie Outen had the most appropriate first meeting possible – they were both partying at Outlook Festival in 2014, where they crossed paths at Shogun Audio’s full stage takeover.

Sharing a mutual appreciation for the deeper side of the genre the pair started playing together as Deadline, which has by now taken them to playing support slots for the guys they once looked up to. The pair play as residents at the heads-only party Skankandbass, but that’s not their main activity: they also now regularly warm up at Shogun Audio’s parties, while Van Dongen works as part of the team helping to run Friction’s label. 

With their EC1 debut happening alongside Delta Heavy in Room One on 09/06, they fired us over a mix spanning slamming techstep through to heartfelt rollers in anticipation.
