Happy 2015!  Finally...another quick demo...it's been too long!   Simply - pop tunes blended together using two 1200's, an Empath, and Serato.   Will do this more often...

Huge thanks to my wife and her co-workers for inspiring me to do this mix!  Gave me a list of songs, repeatedly listened to them, and this is the result. DJ Equipment info:  2 Technics 1200 turntables, a Rane Empath mixer, and Serato.  Hope you like it...

DJ KenFused Hindi Mix 2015

Ripped from an old mixtape (cassette); not the best sound quality, and you'll no doubt hear some of that 'waviness' that you get when tapes are played over and over again. Probably done around 1994-ish, for a friend of a friend who loved Jocelyn Enriquez (one of her tracks, 'I've Been Thinking About You', comes in around the 30:00 mark), but also wanted some of the classic freestyle tracks from the mid/late 80's.

Mainstream hits from the past and present; meant to show what I love to do when I spin: mix old school with new school, cross-mix genres and eras, and utilize the looping function of Serato Scratch Live in order to create my own intro/outro breaks, and effects...live remixing on two turntables, just like we used to do with regular 12" singles back in the daze….N-Joi!

Old and New 2015

Mixing tracks of different tempos. (FYI, for those who are unaware:  The opening track is The Police's 'Roxanne'.  And I ended the mix with Bruno Mars' 'Locked...' because when I first heard 'Locked...', I thought of 'Roxanne'.  I thought it to be appropriate...) Using two turntables, a mixer, and Serato running on a MacBook Pro.  Short and sweet - the way I approach all demos - to simply show mixing ability.  Thanks for listening.  Enjoy…and share!
