Temple Dayz Tribute
Back in 1996, The Temple opened on Oxford St, featuring 3 levels of pumping Oldskool bangers. For those that were lucky enough to experience The Temple, it was a true club with awesome sound & lighting, amazing crowds where everyone came to dance and party – and everyone got along and looked after each other.
Captain Kirk was resident DJ there, playing some memorable sets to packed dancefloors on a weekly level. Besides being a very humble and down to earth guy, his sets during the mid to late 90’s helped shape this amazing scene which is alive and well after all these years.
It was one awesome night / morning in 96/97 where I had the privilege of partying to one of those sets, a 5-hour marathon set which changed me musically forever. After walking out of the club that next morning, all I wanted to do was become a DJ and the Captain was and still remains my biggest influence as a DJ. 
The crazy thing, I still remember most of what he played during that magical set Back in 96/97 – and after sharing this story with the captain himself, he came up with an amazing idea that we recreate that set (with the tracks I remember him playing) and go back-to-back on a live mix. Humbled, excited, absolutely smitten to be part of this back-to-back mix with one of the pioneers in Oldskool Nrg, and most of all, my biggest influence as a DJ.

A full dose of my fav DCM Anthems sprinkled with a few Blackmarket classics, mixed by mr kek using real vinyl and Traktor Scratch Pro DVS (for tunes I don't have on vinyl but still using vinyl and instead of using CDJ's). Mixed with vinyl all the way.

This one is a special edition version, inspired by the upcoming Summer here in Australia, the style is not like my previous Night Trains, this one has a more of a trance influence. The best way to listen to this is to imagine being at an all night party on the perfect beach, as the sun is just coming up in the distance. This is what I was going for in this mix. Passion IV

Klimax has been working the Sydney dance scene since 1998, in his early days he held residencies in Clubs such as The Temple, Blackmarket, Lizard Lounge, Rogues, Liquid and NV nightclubs. In 2006 Klimax landed a residency at Home-Bar where he was introduced to new sounds in the Sydney House scene. More recently Klimax has moved on from the Hi Nrg scene and started working in the cross in nightclubs such as Sapphire and Mansions. Klimax's style encompasses many facets of the modern dance scene from soulful to commercial electric house. Klimax has pioneered new sounds in many dance parties around Australia including the Hot Kandi parties. Klimax's music experience now spans three different decades, known as a natural crowd reader he always keeps the floors full and has a lot of fun in the process.
