As the dust barely settles from this year’s collaboration with Alex Mills, Toolroom welcomes ESSEL back on the label with ‘Look Back’.

A certified club weapon that’s been a highlight in her recent DJ sets, demonstrating her production versatility; flipping from stand out ‘feel good’ moments to ‘lights off’ driving club bangers. Stylistically, ‘Look Back’ is a return to club form in the vein of previous Beatport number one’s ‘Sweat’ and ‘Lennon’.

Premiere: Peverell & Kuuda - So Spiritual (Yousef Circus Rework) [Let There Be House]

Finding new artists and helping them deliver straight fire for DJs is the core of what we do at Glasgow Underground. Spanish deep house and disco producer Chanknous has a sound that is close to our heart, and with releases on Deepalma and collaborations with the likes of Lee Wilson, he's in that bubbling-under zone that we love to develop. For his GU debut, he takes Britney’s noughties smash and gives it a slow-burning makeover. Add some classic house stabs, a wickedly wandering bass line, and you have a killer slice of Zara deepness.

Roland Clark debuts on Milk & Sugar Recordings with “Hear The Sound”

After years of powerful guest appearances on numerous Milk & Sugar tracks, iconic US vocalist, DJ, and producer Roland Clark now releases his first solo single on the label. The track “Hear The Sound”, dropping September 12, 2025, is a soulful and deeply grooving anthem that embodies everything house music is meant to be: uplifting, spiritual, and rhythmically irresistible.

Roland Clark is more than a vocalist – he's a living legend in house music culture. Known for genre-defining tracks like “I Get Deep”, “Soul Divine”, and Fatboy Slim’s “Star 69”, his unmistakable spoken-word style has left a mark on global dancefloors. His collaborations with artists like Armand Van Helden, David Guetta, and Bob Sinclar made him a go-to voice in the scene.

“Hear The Sound” is Clark at his finest: a vocal-led, groove-heavy track that blends classic house textures with a deep, spiritual vibe. He is delivering a message-driven club track that hits both body and soul.

The funk faucet is open and Alex Preston is pouring it on thick with his latest offering, 'Power'.

The Sydney groove-smith has been carving out his lane with live guitar-driven house that's lit up Toolroom, Fool's Paradise, Another Rhythm, Solotoko and returning to his hombres in at HUGS HQ. His tunes have found their way into the sets of Fatboy Slim, Sonny Fodera, Sam Divine, Fisher and even Idris Elba, while Defected crowds in Croatia, Ibiza and ADE have already felt the full Preston treatment. With residencies across Australia and a catalogue that keeps him locked into playlists, Alex has become the go-to name when you want house with a little extra bite.

'Power' is exactly what it says on the can, a slinky bassline that never quits, percussion with strut and snap and his signature sauce that ties it all together. It's funky, it's cheeky and it's tailor-made for the floors where the lights dip low and the energy peaks high.

'They give it they take it away, the glory, the fame all in the name of Power'
