Hecate was a god related to boundaries, notably the boundaries of our world. I often feel disconnected of this world, in a kind of dream state where everything seems unreal and since Hecate was a god that was seemingly in-between worlds, I feel a bit like her in that state, in an in-between world. Not entirely here, but not entirely somewhere else.
