DJ Leon spinning @ Frankfurt Festival (Salsa Room) 05-03-2016

Salsa DJ Leon is of Surinamese descent and was born and raised in the Netherlands. He was introduced to salsa back in 2006 as he took his first salsa lesson. While dancing got less, his passion for salsa music slowly developed. He turned into a “Salsaholic” and started out DJing and collecting salsa music. Inspired by the Nuyorican-Style of Salsa from the 70ies, he believes it’s extremely important to play danceable and varied music. Since a while now he is very passionate about collecting rare vinyl records. He successfully demonstrated his love for vinyl on several salsa parties. Although he lives in Germany since 2008, he already filled many dance floors with his carefully selected salsa music and he has been invited to a number of festivals/congresses.
