I composed the instrumental after a very strong introspection which was to root myself to know my faults and this understanding linked to the desire to make people dance gives a subtle alchemy I feel.

The lyrics talk about responsibility because following a slight conflict with a person who is running away from their own responsibilities I felt the need to reveal myself.

We have condensed the oldest and longest (at 13,000+ words) poetic drama ever composed, entitled the Epic of Gilgamesh. 

The Epic is about the first and original hero ...of those “with a thousand faces”, the term coined by the mythologist Joseph Campbell, to indicate that there were more mythological heroes who underwent similarly challenging rite-of-passage quests after Gilgamesh. There were heroes like Hercules, Jason, Theseus and Odysseus, Buddha, Pinocchio in fact, and even Bob Dylan sung of his own hero's journey in his song Isis on the album Desire. King Arthur and Merlin also undertook a heroic quest in the Celtic myths, a sea voyage around the pole stars. 

But Gilgamesh is the prototype, and his epic journey requires him to “tread the rim of the wheel”. In my book, Stories in the Stars, I re-interpret the translations of the cuneiform on the Babylonian tablets to show that this "wheel's rim" symbolises the ring of the zodiac constellations in the stars, and so that’s also reflected in our track.
 
I’m very grateful to @APi_ZZ for providing such a captivating and inspiring soundscape to accompany Gilgamesh's stellar journey.

The Naked Lie - Me (On My Own) (The Lie Part 2)

Logos, based in the Tampa, FL area, is a rising talent in EDM, Future Bass, and Melodic Dubstep. Blending elements of trap, dubstep, tearout, and metal, Logos creates unique tracks that merge commercial appeal with underground intensity.

A therapeutic journey into a mix of jazz, classical, and a blend of types of electronica.  And a wry, gradual observation that promotion tends to only go as far as you push it.  At least I make my fellow musicians laugh a little.
