Patch Notes:

Using the AXON-2 buttons as a Cross Op source for Pamela’s PRO Workout, resetting random seeds / S&H to produce new patterns, CV sequences and fixed CVs from the outputs. Grab the latest Pam PRO FW (v125) from the Busy Circuits site to use the AXON-2 buttons as a Cross Src.

Starting from the BPM menu, the ‘Axon Switch A’ option is set ‘Cross Src’, allowing the button to function as a manual momentary gate signal when pushed, working as an optional source for any Cross Operations.

Moving to output 1 (producing a looped random pitch sequence), the Cross Op is enabled and set to ‘Seed’ which creates a new string of random each time it is reset by the Cross Src. The source is then set to ‘Axon A’, connecting the button to the Seed reset function.

This is repeated for all 8 outputs of Pam with the top row including Seed resets and the bottom row S&H Cross Ops (to sample and hold 4 random CVs). When the AXON’s A button is pushed all 8 outputs immediately update with new patterns, CV sequences and random fixed CV outs, resulting in a completely new rhythm, melody, chord and timbre of the Akemie’s Castle voice.
