I have spent the last 6 months putting together a mix of bass influenced house.  I have been so inspired by the music which has been released recently, that I felt that I needed to compile a mix of this great music which has given me so much joy. 
 
This mix started when I discovered the song “Vibe Alert” by No Thanks. After listening to this song roughly 100 times, I felt that I needed to find many more songs to accompany it.  Right around this same time, I found out about an artist named San Pacho.  Anyone who knows me well, knows that when I find an artist I love, I start devouring their whole library, studying every song like I am about to take an exam on their sound.  After playing San Pacho’s tracks for a few months, I then made the bold move of reaching out to him on Instagram, asking about his music and praising his sound.  He responded by sending me a library of unreleased tracks, which have been at the core of almost every one of my sets since June.
 
All of this being said, I have put together a mix that I am very happy with.  It has taken countless hours of my time and I consider it the last mix I will be working on for a long time.  While the style may not satisfy all tastes,  I hope you can appreciate the time, intention, and emotion I put into this.  This mix is peak Gene Lee.

Ok, you're the DJ(s)...8:45am...the morning sun is shining, and a field of friends and family are reveling in the afterglow of a three hour dawn set by Thugfucker.  What do you play?  How do you follow that?  These are questions Dao & I were honored and privileged to answer more than hypothetically at the FnF summer campout 2012, only a few days ago.  We are proud to have spent  time and energy crafting this set.  (This is a re-creation, polished and pretty for you ;)  We wore kimonos.  We had a blast. So grateful to my brothers and sisters at DISTRIKT for having me out at the Belasco Theater in DTLA to play this for them. 
This set is dedicated to my late distrikt brother Mikey Reigle, as thoughts of him drove it's creation.

In 2009 discovered the burning man community and he has been an active member since.
In 2019 he founded Love & Lounge, A collective of DJs and artists that have bonded over the years around the common theme of creating incredible events in beautiful locations including new and exciting elements each time. He has been producing numerous tracks released on Beatport, Itunes, Spotify, and other platforms. He's now performing with national and international artists like Claptone, Shiba San, Lost Frequencies, DJ Dan, The Sponges, Donald Glaude, and in most of the Burning Man art cars, camps, communities including, XUZA, Bubbles and Bass, Incendia, Freakeasy, IFeel, and Big Puffy Yellow.
