In the late ‘90s, it’s very rare that you wouldn’t find me record shopping at 9-12 St. Annes Court. I would make a pilgrimage there every week and hope to pick up all the current anthems that were getting dropped at Escape From Samsara and Pendragon. If I was lucky, I would hear a sneak peak of the latest banger being written in the adjacent studio.
The in-house music produced there is without doubt my favourite of the UK scene at the time - the Acid Trance being pumped out by Choci and his various labels really epitomised the underground clubbing scene in London and was the soundtrack to the best days of my life...
Researching, sourcing, compiling and sequencing this mix has been a real labour of love for me and I hope you can hear that passion and admiration I have for the music come through in the mix.

Inspired by my sets at We'R'acid  in 2024. Acid fuelled mix from me!!

I went with a cheesy mix name as I'm like that, but I feel like my love of djing harder music has been 'reactivated' recently.  When I was djing the first time round in the mid 2000s  I played harder than I do now for the most part, so it's a full circle moment for me, really.  When I go clubbing I want to hear harder music.  I loved Twist, love Tuff Groove and Encoded and the VC nights in recent years.  I just never felt entirely comfortable back playing in that harder space out this time round as there are so many great djs in that space and I've enjoyed exploring warm up and more chunky/ vocal sounds in recent times, it is an art to be able to do a good warm up for me.  So it's all been part of a process.  I've been lucky to have some decent sets lately at later times that have pushed me into believing this is something I can still be 'me' in.  So watch this space for some new harder tunes from me later in the year as well.  😈🤩

DJ/Producer based in Cheltenham UK. DJing since 1998. Started on the production side of things at the beginning of 2018 as he's finally found some time to do it. His sound is uniquely recognisable capturing the essence of 90's Acid Trance sound but bringing it up to date using modern techniques. He DJ's anything from Trance, Hard Trance, Hard House to Acid Techno. 

He is also the founder and driving force behind Bangers & Mash a Hard Dance event (link below) in Cheltenham that run for 23 years from 2000-2022. Bangers & Mash now features once a year at Something Different Festival held at Out To Grass in Bromyard in May.
