As one of Kuala Lumpur’s finest hip hop r&b dj, DJ LUQE selects only the most premium of hip-hop, R&B, neo soul, and urban to jive his dance floor. He does not stop there, though. Over the years, he has grown a reputation to be one of the city’s pioneers for an exceptional skill of reaching out to selected partygoers, who take their Hip Hop R&B and urban playlists seriously. 
Started from a humble beginning, he climbs the stairwell by hard work, and he slowly obtains his first gig in The Flipside (Hip Hop room) at Backroom KL back in 2003. After years of striving, he begins to get invited to perform in various clubs and events within and outside the country. DJ LUQE hosts a residency in Southeast Asia’s superclub Zouk Club Kuala Lumpur, where he arms the club’s major hip hip hop nights such like Ghetto Heaven, Flava & C.R.E.A.M. with other major local hip-hop DJs. Better yet, he has even experienced being the opening act for international hip-hop stars, namely Jazzy Jeff, Cash Money, and DJ Rectangle and many more @ Zouk KL. He as well gets to play pop & urban urban tunes on Thursdays in Zouk’s Velvet thematic School of Pop night and on Wednesdays @ Zouk’s Velvet on Ladies Night Out. He wraps up every night with a tasteful compilation of hip-hop and the latest bangers tunes, as an unforgettable signature to vibrate the dance floor and attracts partygoers craving for more. 
He has now grown to be a part of DJCity Malaysia, world-renowned music pool & Dj collective with representatives across multiple countries worldwide.
