DJ Madds has been a DJ for over 20 years he was first inspired in the Hip Hop and Electro era of Beat Street and Break Dance.
He has followed the changing British scene from the age of 11 he has honed his Skills as a Turntabalist, Scratch DJ and Producer over the past Two Decades.

As a DJ he has been a member of numerous bands including Monk and Canatella, Quantum Deluxe, Lillydamwhite, CCQ, Urban Décor, and his own project Manic Compression.

He has toured The U.K, France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Japan as part of Monk and Canatella the band and as the tour DJ he has played with such names as Jazzie B, The Scratch Perverts, Blak Twang, The Herbalizer, Giles Peterson, DJ Cam, Jazzanova as well as the Pharcyde, Kosheen, DJ Craze and Roni Size.

He has been signed to Telstar records as part of Monk and Canatella and his Discography (featuring) spans some 13 releases of LPs and 12” as well as his own projects and Remix’s for System Vertigo which have all had media coverage and various chart positions in the UK.
