This is a wonderful piece of music! I really  enjoyed the sound design and ebb and flow of the track; Very Dynamic!

This is a set I crafted in September 2021 for a virtual stage at BRCvr called The Oasis of Oontz. BRCvr was the AltSpaceVR world that was created by the BMOrg to provide Burners with a place to gather during the pandemic. This set originally aired on the day of the Burn. 

Collectively, many of the DJs who participated that day decided to participate in a Twitch raid train in December 2021 to re-broadcast their sets outside of BRCvr. This was the opening set for that raid train.

Bubble Bath

What is originality in music anymore? It's something I've struggled with as a producer and DJ for much of the past 10 years. As a producer I've pretty much given up on sounding original, but as a DJ I've always tried to find music that sounds original or at least attempts to do so. When it comes to dance floor music I've found it nearly impossible to find music that truly has an original sound to it, but I've been finding all sorts of abstract and eclectic Electronica and random tracks here and there that to me really feel like they're doing something different or going Against The Grain if you will....

When two of the worlds best electronica/downtempo producers and DJs, Bluetech and Dj Maggie respectively asked me to create a set for their streaming show Holotropic Happy Hour I knew this was the perfect opportunity to finally put together a set of these tracks! I hope you enjoy the journey!

I got on my bike today and made a spontaneous mix honoring of Albert Hofmann's  magnificent moment in history, 80 years ago so (L)et's (S)tart(D)ancing!
This global psychedelicatessen of elevating, knotty, percolating, pulsing and squidgy bassliness is woven with a smorgasbord of flavor. Low-end basscapades, traditional horn lines and global soundplay all meet up with  the skank and stutter of dub reggae vibes while they mesmerizingly entangle with psychedelic sound design. Ecstatic Dance Spring 2019 (Live @ Dragon Gung Fu Tea House)

DJ Maggie carefully curates the best of downtempo electronic into lush, playful and deeply replenishing sets that invite listeners on shimmering audio odysseys. Whether leading flights to the depth of the heart or the outer dimensions of the cosmos, Maggie pilots music masterfully as a multi-dimensional tool—for joy enhancement, energy boosting, community building, a safe space for retreat, a salve for helping heal pain, or a focus-enhancing medium to optimize creativity or productivity.

Evolving her own brand of intuitive sound at the legendary Southern California desert gatherings of the groundbreaking Moontribe Collective and other conscious parties and festivals, Maggie soon established a reputation for her heart-expanding sonic rides. This eventually propelled her into the path of her current collaborations with esteemed downtempo artist and producer, Bluetech (Evan Bartholomew) and their labels Behind the Sky and  Over the Moon. Her first compilation, a 2xLP entitled ‘Matters of the Heart,’ was released in June 2021 on Behind The Sky, and she began releasing through Over the Moon in October 2021.
