Welcome to the 32ND release for @PuzzleProjectsMusic brought to us by the Italian producer @FlavioMPMusic and British Producer @BenSpaldingOfficial.

Label boss Ben Spalding and Flavio MP released their first collaboration ‘Mind The Gap’ EP in early 2021 on @PuzzleProjectsMusic to widespread critical acclaim in the Tech House scene from the likes of Marco Carola, Riva Starr, Chris Lake, Joseph Capriati, Roger Sanchez, Claude Von Stroke, Richie Hawtin and countless more worldwide. 

Their partnership has led to a fast-growing catalogue of raw underground bangers that defy standardised and predictable arrangements, whilst still wielding the potency to set the dance floor ablaze. On this new release ‘Off The Rails’ EP – the duo again combine to devastating effect.

The opening track on the EP ‘WASTER’ is specifically designed for opening a peak-time set - teases in so gently – setting the atmosphere in ruthless style, earth-shattering bass kicks set the tone immediately with raw power, paired with a paired-back bassline and short but perfectly complimentary vocal clips. Building the energy gradually, Ben and Flavio's unorthodox build-ups and drops transform the track into an electrifying and relentless monster.

On the flip, we have ‘SPECTRUM’ (Orginal Mix) which dunks us in the darker end of the dance floor. An elasticated bassline lies at the core of this one, with sinister atmospherics as the naughty story unfolds. The vocal and instrumental - razor-sharp hats and pumpin’ kicks as standard - complement each other perfectly, providing a dark, alluring backdrop to the hedonism of the club environment. An extended breakdown allows for Ben and Flavio to truly deepen the impact of this menacing cut and the well-executed break towards the end sends us into the latter part of the track fully energised.

Finally, the duo gift us with a Dub Mix of ‘SPECTRUM’. This alternate but utterly euphoric cut strips away the vocals and presents a minimal rework of the original, emphasising the moody atmospherics and irresistibly contagious drum patterns. This is a hypnotic stomper that grips you right from the off and pulls you way down deep into its gloomy lair.

As a  DJ Manjit was involved in the London club scene for two decades, starting when the underground  scene was at it’s peak. 

In 2012 he set up psytrance audio/visual act Beat Pushers and released his first EP, Piccadilly Circus.

Today Manjit is producing his own tracks and releasing them through various record labels such as BABA, Pan Music Records, Global Techno Alliance, Eternity Sounds, RevKon Records and of course through Audiobrain Productions.

Unfortunately now Manjit’s RA reached a level which meant he could no longer DJ. Unable to continue with his passion for playing music to a live audience Manjit now directs his energy into creating music in his studio. So now, through Audiobrain, Manjit releases his free downloads and EP’s and also through various other labels while he continues to battle with his pain. Despite the issues caused by his health he has  a passionate motivation for the genre of electronic music and is continuously extending his knowledge and skills in this area. He is interested in supporting others with their projects as long as they are able to keep an open mind regarding how his health can affect him day to day.
