Feverball Radio Show 227 With Ladies On Mars + Special Guest SEAMUS HAJI

I had a nice time during my hour, playing a selection of disco and funk oldies, with a few promos in the second hour. Good to be back in business with my laptop fixed and my setup in its new and improved location - excuse a bit of feedback on the mic as i’m still getting everything just right. 
My guest this time was FunkSupply, a DJ from Portsmouth on the South coast of England. I had the pleasure of meeting him on a dancefloor in East London a couple of weeks back watching Young Pulse, and I can confirm he’s a nice bloke. His mix is nice too - a pulsing, high energy mix of disco and disco house with tracks from the likes of Jamiroquai and Shapeshifters.

This week my special guest is Brazilian DJ and radio show host Alessandro Oliveira. I'm a big fan of his "Disco Dance Radio Show", and it's a pleasure to welcome him to my own show 

** DJ BIO **
Alessandro Oliveira is a DJ who plays house, disco house, soulful and nu disco, plus flashbacks from 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s. He was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil.

He began his career at the age of 14, with his musical influences being the main dance pop groups and singers of the 80s such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, as well as the 90s: Front 242, Double You, Black Box, Erasure and all other euro dance artists. That's why he loves it when he's asked to play at a flashback party!

Throughout his career, he played in the main nightclubs in São Paulo, in addition to 2 programs (Turbo Mix and Ritmo da Noite) on one of the main radio stations in Brazil - Jovem Pan 2. In addition, he was also the DJ responsible for WebVintage Radio, the first "only 80s" themed radio in the world, for 2 years with an exclusive 2-hour edition of pure disco house on Fridays and Saturdays.

Today he is responsible for Disco Dance, a weekly radio show, which has channels on SoundCloud, YouTube and Mixcloud, in addition to being broadcast on several partner radio stations.

With a DJing career spanning 3 decades Mark's style has always been feel good tracks to make a dance floor move. As well as holding a number of residencies, Mark has had guest appearances for events around the UK. He is a regular guest on UK radio shows and can also be found presenting his own 'Feel Good Show' on Housemaster Radio at 6pm Fridays Bi weekly.

Mark burst onto the producing scene in 2020 with a debut top 20 Nu Disco hit 'Feeling Good' on Dubplate Disco Recordings. This was followed up with a collaboration with Wayne Soul Avengerz and Odyssey Inc 'Give Me Your Love' which reached Number 3 on the Traxsource charts.

Over the next 2 years Mark scored a host Nu Disco top 10 hits with 'Satisfaction' on the world famous Pornostar Records, Savin’ It and ‘Party People’ both on All Night Long records (Midnight City’s label), ‘Sunshine’ on Trois Garcon and a Beatport top 10 with Discotron titled ‘Ibiza Uncovered’. He also received a massive accolade of having his track ‘A Message Of Love’ being awarded in the “Hed Kandi Anthems of 2021”
National radio plays (Kiss FM) of ‘Party People’ and ‘Bring Ya Vibe’ have pushed Mark as one of the hottest emerging Nu Disco producers.
