The composer of the World-renown "Belle", part of the Notre-Dame de Paris musical, Riccardo Cocciante, also known in French-speaking countries and the U.S. as Richard Cocciante, is a French-Italian singer, composer, theatre man and musician.
"Il Mio Rifuggio" (My Refuge or Safe-heaven) is a particularly powerful song that I have slightly edited with a longer intro using some Soufi sounds with Ney, and other oriental touches like Qanun and Oud.

What a great bunch of artists in this album: from Youssou N'Dour to Hiba Tawaji, from Ibrahim Maalouf to Toumani Diabate, Matthieu Chedid did a fantastic job assembling them all and this is clearly the album for the summer 2017. Oui l'âme est au Mali, the soul is indeed in Mali, in Bamako, and this is my vibe this summer.... This is a first piece called Manitoumani that I've re-orchestrated to my tunes, Istanbul, in this Ex Orient Lux (Light Comes from the East) edition.

Composed by Giorgos Stavrianos and played by Nicos Hatzopoulos, who undoubtably is one of the best violinists in the World, "Secret Love" was featured in particular in the Buddha Bar III album which made it quite well-known.
