Mervin Palace was started in 2023 for Ben Jarvi [aka Rayphaze/Ray Phaze Tropic] to step into the crowded arena of dance music after years of dabbling in the shadows of experimental collage and quirky beat music. Mervin has a strong respect for early Chicago House music, in addition to contemporaries such as Delroy Edwards, Traxx, and Pepe Bradock. He is glad to be shaping his own voice of homespun dance music -- one "Merv Is A Pal" track at a time.
