breaks . house . drum&bass . dj and producer . husband . dad .  

started dj'ing in '95 on a pair of toshiba turntables and a cheap ass 2-channel mixer . started playing jazzy groovy house with a latin flavour . moved to a harder more progressive sound until i was so sick of cheap top-40 sounding house tracks coming down the pipe in a record pool . discovered and began to relate to breakbeats and jungle . i mashed together a mathematics rinse with "natural mystic' by bob marley and was dubbed dj natral mystk in the ottawa d 'n b scene . 
i got creative . in 2002 i started mashing 45 rpm jungle on 33 1/3 with funky breaks and my favourite old house tracks . started morphing my own style together that reminded me why i loved music in the first place . 2012 with mystk is a robot i put together probably the most solid mix of bangin' music of my career . i hope to continue the trend and find myself out there playing for crowds of sweaty people ..... 

2018 UPDATE . It's been a lot of years. I'm dusting off the old gear and making some muzzik with partner . old man with a new vision :mystk: .
