It is extremely rare that Bruise Your Body Breaks puts out a mix. Our show is fully intended on the Visual aspect of the DJ world. { Www.the-lost-art/live } We do not make perfect mixes nor try to! It is one thing to listen to a mix, but it is another to enjoy the showmanship and the craft of the mixing culture. We deal with so much unreleased music, that we do not put mixes out to help these artists achieve better sales and also to keep the market from flooding. We are here for the producers first, and will always be here to help push this amazing sound. Dominance Electricity and the other artists have agreed to let this one of a kind mix to be released. This was done all by hand { 2 Turntables and a mixer }in front of a live audience on www.the-lost-art.com 10 PM Eastern - 022014. It is extremely humbling to get a stab at all of this production. It was an incredible night to remember and thank you to everyone involved!

I just want to say first off that I had a great time tonight. I really did.. Very rough week up until the show and the music saved the day! It was nice to step back and really enjoy the productions used as a fan first and DJ second. The world can seemingly fall apart, and nothing else matters but the music that keeps things together! It really has been a blessing to work with so many labels and producers that do help peoples lives with their wonderful creations. Its been very humbling to have this show and especially the people that support not only us, but the station that keeps giving and giving. Im super proud to be just where Im at, nothing more and nothing less. Thanks to the TlA team holding the fort down. All of you guys are amazing! Code Rising is an American Electro duo that was formed in 2010 and consists of Matt Lancaster (South Carolina) and Ryan Phillips (South Florida). Over the years, Code Rising has shared the stage and worked with some of the biggest names in the Electro music scene; performing live mainly in Miami and the surrounding Florida coasts.

After a healthy line of digital releases on Monotone Records from 2010-2013, the duo saw the release of their first full-length CD "Dissemination Protocol" on their own label, Propulsion Recordings. 2021 saw the largest release from the duo yet; "A Spectral Odyssey" was released digitally via BandCamp with a whopping 18 track playlist. Accounting for original and collaborative work, the duo have more than several 12" EP releases in their catalogue. Most of the Code's discography can be found on Soundcloud and Bandcamp! XS, aka Jay Fatigate has been a staple in the Electronic Dance Music scene since 1987.  Starting off in New York with Freestyle, Miami Bass, House, Hip Hop, and RnB.  In 1991 he assisted a DJ in New York’s Palladium Night Club when he received his first techno record by artist L.A. Style, which wrote James Brown is Dead.  In 1992 he moved to Daytona Beach, FL where he entered the “Florida Rave Scene.” He began to DJ for the Mad House @ Zonkers.  As his talent spread on scene flyers and by word of mouth,  he began to spin and work many bookings in Orlando, Gainesville, Tampa, Tallahassee,  Miami, and Fort Lauderdale, at all major venues.  In 1997 he was signed to “Go Off Productions” and played for major promotional companies such as Culture Productions, and FSOB. He retired for 20 years to raise a family in South Florida. As the pandemic hit, he began to create again.  “I have Returned”  was his comeback compilation, streaming now on SoundCloud. Currently he’s been booked by promoters such as FSOB, Sunshine State of Bass, 808 Life, Frajile Recordings, Theoryon, Culture, and  more.  His unique style of mixing will send you on a journey that you will definitely want more of!
