London-born artist N1NJA debuts on Mobilee Records with a mesmerising melodic techno offering, ‘A Frequency Illusion’.

Described by DJ Mag as a ‘mega-talented, fast-rising star’, DJ, podcaster and producer N1NJA, whose real name is Farah Nanji, is heavily influenced by her roots from the Indian and African subcontinents, which come together in her DJ sets and productions, the latest of which is for the Mobilee imprint. “Based on the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon, ‘A Frequency Illusion’ is a hypnotic progressive techno track
that draws inspiration from the elusive, mysterious nature of ninjas and how sound can alter the perception of
time and space” - N1NJA.
The title track 'A Frequency Illusion' is a spellbinding ride through euphoric soundscapes that transport the
listener to a starry landscape. Glistening synth leads, soaring pads and organic percussion coalesce in a
hypnotising fashion that mirrors the fluidity of a ninja.
Next up, ‘London Blues’ is a slow-blooming cut that ventures into sparser electronic territories. Cavernous
bass stabs and tribal drums are guided by a clean blues guitar lead that ebbs and flows between the intricate
pockets of space, making for a moving finale inspired by the streets of London.
Farah’s impact extends beyond her artistic endeavours; her TEDx Talk on overcoming neurodiversity as a
musician and interviews with industry heavyweights like Carl Cox and Alan Fitzpatrick on her number one
podcast series Mission Makers have shed light on much of the underground music scene’s biggest
misconceptions.
This is an artfully crafted release that showcases the depth of N1NJA’s sound palette, ‘A Frequency Illusion’ is
released on Mobilee on 7th April 2023.

This is the recording of my 3 and 1/2 hour set at the legendary WOMB Nightclub in Tokyo Japan, for the 4 year Anniversary party of BUMP, hosted by Ken. 

This was an absolutely magical night, and I was blown away by Japan's kindness, hospitality, and energy. The sound, lighting, and production at WOMB was truly top notch. All the other DJs played killer sets, and the crowd was truly connected with the vibes all night. I'm so happy to release this set and share with you all. Cannot wait to come back and do it again. Arigato Ken, Dai, BUMP family, WOMB family, and all of Japan, you stole my heart!

When music is your yin and racing your yang, it’s no surprise that London-born Farah Nanji, known by her artist alias N1NJA, has had some of the world's wisest stages spinning into transcendent circles for the last decade.

Trained by the renowned Buddha Bar Group at the inception of her career, N1NJA is currently the resident at Blue Marlin Ibiza in London and she paints her creative canvas through an extraordinary exploration of live sounds and enchanting frequencies, from the electric guitar to the sitar, inspired heavily by her ethnic roots from the Indian and African sub continents. These sounds create hypnotic portals which are looped into pulsating waves of deep tech and techno, creating an emotive experience for listeners whether they find themselves on her dancefloor at Pacha Destino Ibiza, the United Nations, or the Steelyard in London.

Outside the music studio, she is a well-known thought leader globally recognized as a motorsports entrepreneur, podcaster, and journalist. Farah has dug deep into the ancestral art of the warrior to transcend Dyspraxia, a motor coordination difficulty that she was diagnosed with. She is one of the few musicians in the world to deliver a TEDx talk on the topic of rewiring the brain.

Farah is currently the producer and host of the no.1 podcast series, Mission Makers, which dives deep into the mindset and misconceptions of leaders in music, motorsport, and business. She has interviewed prolific guests from Pete Tong, Carl Cox, Bob Moses, Lee Burridge, Deepak Chopra, and more.
