El Camino de Leda Remixes Vol.1 y Vol.2
The new collaborative release between Folcore Records (Barcelona) and Fértil Discos (Buenos Aires)

A double album made up of remixes of the vinyl released in 2019 "El Camino de Leda" that featured the participation of Chancha Via Circuito, La Charo, Uji, Shaman Herrera, Tremor, Barda, El Remolón, Soema Montenegro, Dat García, King Coya , Pol Nada and more representatives, both of the organic electronic sound of Buenos Aires and singers of contemporary Argentine folk and urban music.

This time, artists from different latitudes remix the tracks of the original ones to create new sounds in song format, to make them suitable for the dance floor in slow mode and also to listening them on any occasion. It has the participation of Klik & Frik, Rodrigo Gallardo, Guazú, Derrok, Tribilin Sound, Carla Valenti, Qechuaboi, Lucas Lead, Mente Orgánica, Nixtamal just to mention some of the collaborations.

El Camino de Leda Remixes Vol.1 and Vol.2 is a new tribute to Leda Valladares, two volumes that include 10 songs each. Available on all streaming platforms.

El nuevo lanzamiento colaborativo entre los sellos Folcore Records (Barcelona) y Fértil Discos (Buenos Aires) Un disco doble compuesto por remixes del disco editado en 2019 El Camino de Leda que contó con la participación de Chancha Via Circuito, La Charo, Uji, Shaman Herrera, Tremor, Barda, El Remolón, Dat García, Soema Montenegro, King Coya, Pol Nada y más representantes, tanto del sonido electrónico orgánico de Buenos Aires como cantantes de la música folklorica y urbana  contemporánea argentina.

En esta ocasión, artistas de diferentes latitudes remezclan las pistas de los tracks originales para crear nuevas sonoridades en formato de canciones, tan aptas para la pista de baile en modo slow como para su escucha en cualquier ocasión. This Ep contains 3 tracks where every song have a different meaning and language; The first track take position as an Intro Edit song and we go straight to Brasil transported by the unique voice of one of the biggest master in music under my opinion, Mr Caetano Veloso; the second one we jump in a higher BPM and country, yes I will drive you now to my land in south of Patagonia, exactly to the Wallmapu (south of Chile), land of one of the last and aboriginal standings "Tribes" we can still find on this planet ... they are still alive and I try to spread they living essence of life with respect and devotion; this is “Mongetun" which means in Mapudungun (they language) "Re-born, back to life" a sign of never give up ... 
For the last part of our sound adventure, we go to Tucuman, land of Mercedes Sosa, she Inspires me with her powerful voice since I was a little child, today I brought to you "Canción del Indio" talking about the sad part of the conquers taking they lands, that is the explication for the musical progression in the track where I try to describe internal emotions and mixing with a bit of history, conscience to finally reach freedom and silence as the last track. I hope you enjoy this journey and thanks for stay tuned.

After two months of the resourceful EP "O Futuro do Passado" presented by the Portuguese duo Ohxalá (@ohxala), we are delighted to release this remix EP. The duo consciously selected collaborations with diverse artists, which gave a gripping mystery as the four remixes resonate sequentially. The raw nature and essence from the original EP remain, and beforehand we all gain accurate and vigorous remixes.

"Ovoavoa" gains an elegant and delicate version proposed by Thommie G. The second track is a remix of "Ossâim" delivered by our dearly beloveds Maracuyá & Nillo, the track was celestially reconfigured.  Under the unique and vibrant perspective of Dandara, "Urubu Violeta" gains a toned delirious. Finishing the selection, a second remix of "Ossâim" was born in MiRET's hands, he spared no effort to remix a devastatingly consistent track.

As always we are targeting slow pace feelings - which certainly does not lack when dealing with this remix EP. These 27min filtered onto four gold-coated interpretations are one of our emphatic invitations in order to you explore and discover the mysteries that surround downtempo's independent music scene. Reflect upon the past, look at the future, the future in the past is always an interim report.

Initiated into candomblé at 8 years of age as Ogã de Xangô, Léo Leobons has rhythm in his veins. Today, he is the most accomplished Brazilian authority on afro-cuban folklore, having contributed to the education of a whole generation of percussionists from Rio de Janeiro. He has worked with everyone from Maria Rita to Azymuth; from Nando Reis to Pedro Luís e a Parede; from Lucas Santtana and Ramiro Musotto to appearances with Tito Puente and Eddie Palmieri. His work appears in films, documentaries, radio programs and television in Brazil and around the world.

Full of rich collaborations with brilliant musicians from across the spectrum of current and traditional music in Brazil, his new album, “Ritual," brings all of his experience together into one cohesive whole, traversing and combining Afro-Brazilian and Afro-Cuban traditions into one seamless and organic package. 

“Ritual REMIXED” takes it one step further by passing the original material along to a crew of remixers who push, pull, warp and morph the ancestral rhythms into productions meant to be heard on large sound systems.
