Let me put all this in a context: 
Although Brazil had a huge influence in the Drum'n Bass scene, the genre isn't very accepted by most of the brazilians nowadays. Maybe it's because of the tons of bossa d'nb versions that were around. 
So, in this one, I've commited the sin of making a d'nb version of this song. But it's not a bossa nova song at all. It's a classic song by a classic singer of Brega, Mister Alipio Martins. 
I can already feel the gods of music pointing their spears at me...

This a song of Mestre Curica from Pará, Brazil. 
I think it ended up beign a mix of Carimbó, Guitarrada, Lambada, Cumbia, some references from Cape Verde and Angola and a certain influence of techno brega.   

And I've tried to make it quite different this time, using more synthetisers and other elements.
