You're in for something completely different.

As a DJ, Obey is renowned for his energetic mixing style and infectious sets blending hip hop and house. Obey has been passionately mixing and creating music since 2007. Although usually considered a short period for any serious DJ, Obey has garnered the love and support of every crowd he's played and thus affording him hundreds of appearances in Washington, DC, New Orleans, New York, South Florida and around the USA. In addition his style has quickly evolved spinning everything from House to Hip Hop to Breakbeats and most recently Dubstep, anything to get the party going. His energetic yet smooth style has been a huge crowd pleaser and in DC is locally known as the Crowd Rocker, his testament having been nominated for the Washington Blade Newspaper's annual Best DJ award. This award set the stage for the next evolution of Obey. After a couple of guest appearances he rightfully so became the main resident DJ at Cobalt Nightclub in Washington, DC and solidifying him as a true professional DJ. Since he's been upping the ante creating original mash-ups, which have become some of the hottest downloads in the DC market. 

In addition to being a master of the CDJs and turntables he has also spun alongside some of the US's most recognizable disc jockeys including DJ Kontrol of the 3 Bad Brothaz, DJ D-Rizzo, DJ Camille and many more. 

In 2010 Obey made his International debut crossing the Atlantic to spin in soho at KuBar and west London at No.5 Cavendish Square. Later this year he will continue his international debut while spinning in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, San Diego Pride and others to be mentioned soon!
