Paul Rowe returns to the decks this week for a stunning all-vinyl session of "Funky Disco", which is also the name of his excellent show on NDC Radio on a Sunday afternoon. His first hour brings the essence of summer to listeners all over the world. 

His guest was PEDRO FROM LISBON. You can guess from his name where he is originally from, but now he's living in sunny Devon in the UK. Pedro is a veteran DJ who has been spinning grooves since 1996, and he plays a wide selection of music, that ranges from soul, funk, disco, Brazilian and African grooves. He always delivers sets that are full of joy and sunshine, and this guest mix is no exception.

My co-host @gregmiddleton took the controls for episode 258 of the Feel Good Friday Show! 

In the first hour, Greg spun loads of lovely stuff including new promos and releases, fresh mashups, some vinyl heat and a couple of classics from the vaults.

Second hour he welcomed special guest, Sean Scanlan @djseanscanlan with a lovely guest mix.

Sean’s journey as a DJ began in the late ‘90s when, at just fifteen, he landed his first major residency at Zeus Nightclub in Essex, UK. In February 1999, he secured a weekly slot at their under-18s event, holding the position for an impressive six years, laying the foundation for a dynamic career. A highly respected DJ, Sean has since worked with prestigious brands such as @hedkandi , Fierce Angel, @discnotheque , Love Sensation and Rulin - @ministryofsound.

His releases have made a significant impact on @traxsource , earning DJ support from industry legends like @davelee.jn , @djmeme , @john_morales_mix , @dr_packer , and @purple_disco_machine , among others. Sean is known for his dedication to producing authentic, high-quality Disco and House music, with a passion for creating vibrant sounds through real musicians, live strings, brass, bass, and percussion, delivering a truly immersive musical experience.

This week's show is all about house music. Resident WoodyR8 treats us to a glorious hour of stomping tunes and chunky dancefloor monsters.

His guest for the second hour was The Loneliest Hunk, a New Zealand-based DJ and producer who weaves together the sounds of house, disco, indie dance and electronica to bring you music with joy, happiness and a bit of grunt. All the things to make you dance and smile. Known for his eclectic selections, his sets blur the line between introspection and hedonism. 

He has been working in the edits/reworks scene for the last few years with music out on Lisztomania, Sundries, Discoholics Anonymous, That’s Not an Edit and Hot Jandal Music.

His work has garnered a global following, with plays from legendary DJs including Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy, Peter Kruder, Craig Charles on his BB6 Funk and Soul radio show, Birdee, Rimarkable, Yolando Be Cool, Fingerman, and Ladies on Mars to name a few.
