Arno Gonzalez is producing a modern house sound that sometimes ventures into melodic territory close to Electronica, the Angevin artist was first spotted by the Parisian label Missive, then by Timid Records, on which he released his debut album “Encounters”, as well as a number of EPs and remixes...

Today, he is one of the spearheads and leaders of Brique Rouge, David Duriez's label, with whom he is on a mission to perpetuate and reinvent a certain vision of House and Techno music.

With this second album, which marks “the end of innocence”, Arno explodes the codes of his music to better transcend them. We find his inimitable touch, a particular sound that is sometimes minimal, sometimes warm and melodious, a real signature on 13 tracks that tell a real story.

If this is the end of innocence, it's also the beginning of maturity.




Brique Rouge label is a pillar of the French House underground since 1999.

The label continues to disseminate the electronic sound David Duriez believes in, far from formatting and excessive vulgarity. An eclectic electronic sound that remains rooted in the underground and on vibe above all.  In general, the team's artists benefit from a carte blanche, and it's above all the state of mind that counts. The label isn't looking for success, it's a success. The success of being able to release music without compromise. With one release a week on platforms since 2020, the label (and its divisions RZ Muzik & Obliqu3) is seen as a key player on the French underground electronic scene, given the activism it demonstrates.

Faithful to the spirit of this music's beginnings - Acid House, Chicago and New York House, or the power of Belgian or Detroit Techno - the label has been churning out releases for 25 years without ever sinking into cynicism, nostalgia or parody. Brique Rouge has established itself as a key French label for the distribution of emerging and creative artists (known and unknown) who draw their inspiration from the roots of the genre, but also pursue the search for new vibes. Without commercial imperatives, the label innovates and denies itself nothing. No formatting, no time sacrificed on the altar of the platforms of streaming, with Brique Rouge it's not the face of the human behind the machine that is highlighted, but its music.

British duo who met in the 1980s in Manchester. Their very influential discography shows off influences spanning acid house, hardcore techno, ambient, krautrock, '60s psychedelica, and more. Previously Dougans, as Humanoid, had a UK Top 10 hit with Stakker Humanoid. Together as FSOL, they scored a major crossover success with Papua New Guinea. Their first full-length Accelerator charted their dancefloor-friendly early career, after which FSOL moved into deeper, more album-oriented world. Lifeforms was a double-disc set spanning long stretches of breakbeat-flavored ambience. It was followed by Dead Cities which added hip-hop, trip-hop, industrial textures, and bleak urban imagery into their mix of influences. Their ISDN album compiled music from their ISDN-uplinked radio broadcasts from the mid-1990s. After Dead Cities came out in 1996, they felt like they were moving in the wrong direction and they dropped off the radar after the A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Exploding In Your Mind Vol.1 mix in mid 1997. 

After a 4 year long hiatus in which they were surrounded by rumors of insanity and drug addiction (whereas the real situation was mercury poisoning from teeth fillings and some soul-searching travels), the Papua New Guinea Translations concept remix album came out in 2001, followed by the full-length The Isness and more material under the Amorphous Androgynous name. 

In March 2007 they finally went independent and launched FSOLDigital.com releasing dozens of unreleased material (under the From The Archives series), as well as old and new material from their other aliases. One of the most anticipated albums in ambient history, Environments got released 13 years since its recording, and then Environments continued as a series, the first volumes were reproduced old material blended with new neoclassical material. By the time they reached Environment Five in 2014, all recorded material was brand new.

Those of you that have been following my work over the past years know that I am big fan of the art of editing, both, digging for and playing the edits of others and manufacturing them myself. Besides the many ones that have been released officially I made countless ones in the past years just to enhance my sets. Doing edits is simply a lot of fun, its a similar approach to remixing but yet different. There are no limits, from just editing tracks (in the literal sense) to make them longer (or shorter), DJ friendlier, or mash an instrumental of one track together with an acapella from another one to building up a complete new production and arrangement around an acapella or an instrumental, there are no limits to re-interpret the respected work of others. Today I decided to start sharing these works with you. I start today out with an edit that uses the elements of Kraftwerk’s “It’s More Fun To Compute“ and the vocals of Afrika Bambaataa & The Soul Sonic Force’s “Planet Rock” and put them over a rocking Electro beat. We are talking about Arabian Prince >> In 1986 he was a founding member of N.W.A but when fellow member Ice Cube came back from the Phoenix Institute of Technology in 1988, Arabian Prince soon after left over royalty and contract disagreements. "I started off as a solo artist", he said, " so I was aware of what a royalty statement was. I knew that when these many records were sold, there is a quarterly statement. When you look at it, you can see how much money was paid and then share it. This was not the case. We were also never paid for touring." Eazy-E, Ice Cube and MC Ren remained as the main performers, DJ Yella was the turntablist and Dr. Dre was the main producer.

After leaving N.W.A, Arabian Prince began a solo career. His first album, Brother Arab, was released in 1989 with the hit single "She's Got A Big Posse"; Where's My Bytches followed in 1993.

Getting his start at one of Tampa's landmark Late Nights The Groovy Mule, Along side some of Florida's biggest dj&Producers dj Thatcher, dj Mondo, Sharaz, Fixx, Tony Faline and many others. From there Oracle continued to master the craft of Mixology! 2000 Oracle teamed up with DJ Deity. These 2 Artist would remain dj partners for the next 12 years better known as the Duo Deity&Oracle. Togehter they held down a Resistacy on UnitedBreaks.Fm, One of the 1st Internet Radio Shows for catering to Breakbeats exclusively around 2005 Oracle met and Teamed with dj 303 and began a journey into music production. Along With DJ Deity Oracle and 303 combined to form the group O3D. with a very sexy and progressive take on Electro with that staple Florida breaks sound. After 10 releases O3D disbanded. Oracle&Deity then teamed up with dj Crucal from "The Untouchables" and created The Audio Alchemist. with several E-Hop remixes and Orginals AA
