With The Social Festival fast approaching, we hooked up with Monkey Safari for a special warm-up podcast.

The German duo made big changes in 2016, retiring their previous labels to focus on new imprint, Hommage. Since then it's been onwards and upwards, with successes in both the studio and at some of the world's biggest festivals.

Where the good-natured Dutch guy Petterson used to score on the soccer field, the ball for his musical career really started to roll at a festival in 2016. There was a magical moment in the forest, at an old monastery, with its deep, melodic techno sounds. Only later did he make the switch to the club nights and is he a regular guest in his hometown 's-Hertogenbosch (The Netherlands).
Petterson draws his inspiration from a broad spectrum of artists and translates this into a special succession of synths, basses and infrequent vocals. You always recognize Petterson by the unmistakable football shirts, which are an ode to the very first gig outside the field.

His sets give you the perfect synergy between building and floating and let you hope that the magister end song is not in sight for a long time yet. Give him an hour and he makes sure that every melody counts. Give him four hours and he will take you flawlessly on an unforgettable trip that hits you.

Petterson performed at Radio Nachtlab, Geheime Liefde Festival, De Microclub, and In Retraite Festival, among others. Where he shared the stages with, among others, Benny Rodrigues, Olivier Weiter, and Jonas Saalbach (DE). He also regularly releases his recorded sets and ensures, among his performances, that his followers are rewarded with a podcast.
