Having never received a full 1979 retail release in the USA (or any release at all in the UK), the US promo 12" (7:01 mins) of "Shining" by Venus Dodson continues to fetch considerable sums from collectors in 2017. "Shining" was a staple Paradise Garage banger and is surely one of the finest Leroy Burgess penned tracks to come from the peak years of disco. In the interests of restoring historical balance, Kinfine now presents a remastered, limited press, replica 12". Cut with love at 45rpm to ensure a higher audio resolution (than the hard-to-find original). Initial copies include a reproduction press-release card. Remastered from source. No represses. Out now! 'Do You Even' is so very Sune. If you have not yet had the joys of the Swede's back catalogue passing through your ears and consciousness, you won't be aware of the mans ability of transforming a sample into an entity so sweet, butter really wouldn't melt. This cut does exactly that. Pathways between neurones of sun and the dance, further fused by Sune's sultry tones.

Swedish DJ and producer Sune commemorates the tenth release on Better Listen Records with four funk-fueled tracks on his 'Butter Love' EP, including the dancefloor disco jam 'If Not Now, When?'.

The label accurately describes the new material as "jovial, dusty disco and soul samples adorned by heady drum machine programming," which makes for a quality 12" that should be making the rounds this summer and beyond. 

The 'Butter Love' EP is set for release March 7.
