DJ Prema

Prema started his professional music career in 1994 by co-founding Belgrade Rap trio 187. In 1997, among his rapping/producer work with 187, he started DJing. In 2002 he completely devoted his professional career to DJing. By that time, he released 3 LP's, 2 EP's, 6 video clips and performed on numerous gigs with his band, which very much contributed to 187's popularity and made it one of the best domestic bands in past two decades.

Since his DJ beginnings, Prema remained loyal to black music. In his DJ sets you can hear Hip-Hop (Old School, Golden Years, Boom Bap, G Funk, Dirty South,...), R'n'B, Funk, Dancehall, 2-Step Garage and all of the rest new black music styles. On the other hand, his musical knowledge and talents and fast and precise mixing, helped him to prove himself as one of the best mainstream dance music DJ's in Balkans, especially in mixing 80's and 90's popular music.

Prema played in all significant clubs in the region. He was also a resident DJ in belgrade's club Andergraund' 2000-2006 and is still a resident of club 'Freestyler' since 2000. and club 'Plastic' since 2006. During his DJ career he played among many famous international stars such as Eve, DJ Grand Wizard Theodore, Afu Ra, The Streets, Kurtis Blow, Soul II Soul, Stanton Warriors , Shaun Ryder Happy Mondays, Example, Neila Boss, Sidney Samson, DJ Def Cut, Freestylers, Grandmastef Flash, Sak Noel, Alex Gaudino…

While developing his DJ career, Prema became successful in organizing parties and events. As an owner of 'Style' agency, which holds a 'Battle of the Year' licence for organizing Break dance competitions all around Serbia and Montenegro, he directly supported rebirth of domestic break dance scene. He also managed some great Hip-Hop, D'n'B and similar parties.

He is a member of 'Sevdah Baby' band but producing, DJing and organizing events wasn't enough for Prema so he also tried his talents as lead actor in the movie 'Zvonce', directed by Pavle Vuckovic, which won "La Cinefondation" award in Cannes Film Festival. He also partly worked as a model in Belgrade Fashion Week.

While organizing parties he made great collaboration with many famous brands. Since summer of 2010 he is an exclusive promoter of Casio's G-Shock watches and, along with his mates from Buzzin’ crew, he is an exclusive promoter of brend Reebok and Carerra sunglasses.
