This is a song from the album "Turn my Teeth up" from the very Short lived Band of "Baby Elephant" Prince Paul , Newkirk and funk legend Bernie Worrell of Parliament Funkadelic . Unfortunately we never got a chance to Launch this album or the band properly but the album is definitely a lost Gem .. I really love how Bernie Plays and it was an Honor to Produce someone who I admired almost all of my life . If you don't Know who Bernie Worrell is learn your music and google him . This is the original version of this song , I particularly liked this one because it was a little rougher than the one released.  I recorded vocals at Rza's studio and at Paul's Coffee shop LI . This version was replaced by the Mars Volta version on the "White People" album recorded at Automator's studio .

This is a track I had never finished with Buckshot for the " Politics of the biz " album . The one that was released has Tre and Fatlip with Black ice .. This was left in the files unfinished .

This is the First song we recorded as the Gravediggaz in 92" . It was the intro to our demo and it was actually recorded the day I introduced these guys to each other at my house . This track never made the album but It was one of my favorite productions. This was the track that started it all ..  RIP Poetic . Enjoy

This was the original version of " Behind bars " I recorded for Slick Rick during his incarceration in the early 90's . The song didn't come out until 94 but to my surprise was remixed by Warren G and Def Jam scrapped my mix . Though Im still considered a writer of the song I was really hoping to have this heard ( well in 92 when we recorded it that is ) . Though it sounds pretty dated its still one of my favorites and I had the pleasure of working with a Genius Slick Rick . Enjoy the Prince Paul unreleased series .. share music !

This is a Song I did for Kane in 1989 which is the title track of his album " Its a Big Daddy Thing " . At this point in my career this was a big highlight to work with Kane and there was definitely a mutual respect for each others talents . This was our first time working together and I have to say Kane is truly genius a funny guy and a pleasure to work with . Listening back to this song I really wish I could have made the production better . Keep in mind this was just a rough mix , the better mixed version is on the album . Please share this . This one of a few songs I did for the "sex and violence album" . For reasons unknown I never got a chance to fully complete the production on these songs and thus poor mixes were ultimately released to the public . When I hear those songs I cringe .. This is a project that I was asked to do I guess sometime in the early 2000's . It was a remix for a Bob James project . the idea was to take an existing piece of work and flip it . So this was my flip . I had Pete Miser come in and do some vocal snippets . I never knew what happened to the project but I did put a lot of work into this mix so I figured I would share it . Enjoy , Prince Paul unreleased series .

I recorded this and Prince Paul's Bubble party for the Spongebob movie and  this one got rejected .. I actually liked this the best

This was a song that we recorded for the Movie Pootie Tang in 2000 ..This is the ballad from the night club scene  . Newkirk is on the keys Lance Crouther and Missy Elliot supplied the vocals . initially Newkirk and I scored the whole movie .. and then well .. Hollywood took over ;) . This was a song was recorded in My studio in the early 2000's .Doom I had know for quite some time and at this point I had recorded Barman " It very stimulating ' EP . Barman wanted to collaborate with Doom on a song which was a great idea . All I remember in recording this was being amazed how these two guys styles complimented each other. Too bad we didnt record more songs that day.  We never had a formal release of this demo song but did appear on Doom's Leftovers . Please share Prince Paul's Unreleased series ( Its free )

Unreleased from my Dew Doo man record label via Def Jam in 1990 I introduce Mic Teluxe . Along with the group Resident Alien these were the 2 signings I had for my label . Both of these acts were friends I grew up with on Long Island . Unfortunately these never had a proper release and was shelved . After a million years later and some house cleaning I'm dusting these off for the public to hear . Also keep an eye out for random rare hip hop memorabilia I'm putting up for sale .
