first E.P. »Wait« on @ChingZeng Music.

Wait sets an uplifting vibe with influences from hip hop/r&b, 80s house and
techno, garage & rave all melted into one sound. It contains heavy hitting
sounds but still keeps an eye on chords and melody.

»Baby« and »Can´t wait« are dance tracks for clubs and festivals. 90s
house sound meets huge leads, hip hop influenced drums and r&b vocal
slices with lots of 808 hihat -and snarerolls.

„Hide“ is more musical. Thick Brass Ensembles and wild drum fills in the
main part are followed by a ‚lovely‘, organic and unexpected middle part .

Except the vocal, all the sounds you hear in the song were recorded from office supplies, as well as Microsoft SFX. I saw a mind changing lecture by Brian Eno in 2013, so I had to use his sound design for Windows95 as well.

Sometimes I used the sounds as they were, like the contrabass. Other times I applied heavy sound design to the sounds, for example the synth bass is two detuned layers of a waveform that was taken from the bassy sound of a rubberband.

I originally released this as a mixtape-cassette on Carpetbombing back in 2003.I'm still proud of it because I remember the dedication I put into it.It's full of underground rap classics that had my attention at the time, spiced up with exclusive interludes and little scratch breaks.Why is it called 'the offensive digit'? A good question indeed , because that doesn't even make sense.
