Part of a CD project with Cutts Cook / Ruffcut Studio. Bare bones writing demos were taken into the studio and produced By Karl Cutruff. It was a while ago.. it really was a gift to be able to work with Karl. we were both going through a lot personally at the time. Its a wonder how tracks like this came out of those truly hard times. The record " Always a good Time " was never released... I am thinking about it now... 

The song itself was written during the Bush Bailouts... dastardly deeds by politicians ruining our lives.. still relevant today.

The Dow is sinking..yeah so am I
aint no use for me to sit and cry
Bailin out the big three well thats insanity
give that thirty billion bucks to me
A top executive I may not be..
one step from the skids and poverty
I fire all the fat cats and send em back to school to learn their ABC's

On CNN they got the talking heads
and top advisors from the feds
economic masterminds with empty promises and fat behinds
talkin all slick and scholarly
Now I aint got no college degree
but I attended hard knock university
and if you cant cut the mustard 
its time to call it quits and find a different J.O.B

5 Wrongs dont make a right its pure simplicity
hit the road and dont come back
go find yourself a different J.O.B.

Political solutions they just make me sad
Im sick and tired of being had
uncle sam is dead and seeking retribution but hes haveing trouble gettin through the gates

They say that everyone deserves a second chance
philosophy like that is good and fair
but on that list of SOB's there aint a single first offender there

a few words about it

Ricky Ricardo grew up in Almelo, where as a teenager he first came into contact with what would later turn out to be his passion. As an MC at house parties in the 90s, young Ricky not only developed his sense of rhythm, it was the experience of a house party that had the most influence.

it is my passion and my dream is to be a good DJ I have been making tracks for a long time, mixing them so that people like my tracks, it is my passion and I am creative making tracks it is fun to do
I hope to break through with my tracks in the future, I try to make different styles









Ricky Ricardo groeide op in Almelo, waar hij als tiener voor het eerst in aanraking kwam met wat later zijn passie zou blijken te zijn. Als MC op houseparty's in de jaren 90 ontwikkelde de jonge Ricky niet alleen zijn gevoel voor ritme, het was de ervaring van een houseparty die de meeste invloed had.
