This song I wrote back in 2022 and I wrote it while depressed about Covid but it seems to fit right in with the present! It's basically about the anxiety one feels when life suffocates you in any way. It seems everything has gone haywire lately! Grocery prices, the rent is too damn high, our government has gone berserk, A.I. taking over our music and our minds, on and on and on and on! The song was longer but I edited down for the video which just droped on YouTube! It's a very depressing song but I think I played some cool guitar on it and sang it ok! The tail end of the song is another song I wrote around the same time called "Sick Inside", I added it to the track to play over the credits in the video, and by the way, I am feeling quite sick inside! Stay cool everybody! Maybe it will pass?🙏😎✌🏼

It was composed by Roberto B on 22 September 2024 in MAGIX (initial composition, recording, arrangement and mix), Alex M on 5 January 2025 in Logic Pro using GarageBand iOS touch-screen input (subsequent composition, recording, arrangement and mix), and Roberto B on 6 January 2025 in MAGIX (final composition, integration of the voice sample from MAGIX - with our thanks, additions, arrangements, recording and mix), and released here on SoundCloud this morning (in Europe), 10 January 2025. We hope you'll enjoy it.

The artwork cover for the album and all its tracks uses a painting by Roberto B of 24 May 2022 annotated in Mac OS Preview by Alex M on 27 October 2024 - in coordination and agreement between the two.

Ricky Ricardo grew up in Almelo, where as a teenager he first came into contact with what would later turn out to be his passion. As an MC at house parties in the 90s, young Ricky not only developed his sense of rhythm, it was the experience of a house party that had the most influence.

Ricky Ricardo groeide op in Almelo, waar hij als tiener voor het eerst in aanraking kwam met wat later zijn passie zou blijken te zijn. Als MC op houseparty's in de jaren 90 ontwikkelde de jonge Ricky niet alleen zijn gevoel voor ritme, het was de ervaring van een houseparty die de meeste invloed had.
