Nordic dance duo anamē and Danish singer-songwriter Lydmor collaborate on ‘Peaceful Avenues’, out now on Anjunabeats. 

The collaborative work of Marcus Schössow and Thomas Sagstad reached its latest apex last year with their debut album ‘Beautiful World’, a record that the pair have envisioned since first meeting over two decades ago. Following on from solo work with the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Axwell /\ Ingrosso and Kaskade over the last ten years, the duo’s debut album is the latest milestone in their expansive discographies. 

Originally featured as part of ‘Beautiful World’, ‘Peaceful Avenues’ is renowned as one of the biggest moments in anamē’s set lists. Now, the anthemic track now sees its own release alongside multiple new mixes. 

'Peaceful Avenues’ (Unplugged) sees Lydmor deliver a slow and emotional rendition of the popular track from a grand piano in Above & Beyond's studio. Also included in the release are a shorter edit of the original, as well as a full piano 'Unplugged' Instrumental Mix. Fans can expect to see behind-the-scenes footage of the recording process to be posted on anamē and Lydmor’s social and YouTube channels in the coming weeks.

Anyasa releases new single 'Closure' featuring Luke Coulson. The single follows the release of three EP's via Anjunadeep, which have accumulated over 3M streams across DSP's, as well as being covered in esteemed publications such as Mixmag and Rolling Stone India.

The Goan electronic producer has established himself as a world-class touring DJ and live act, with global schedules spanning India, North America, Europe and beyond, and evidenced in multiple online live recordings, such as his 2021 Mixmag In The Lab, and more recently a recording from his unforgettable set at Anjunadeep Open Air Goa December 2023. His 2024 Spring touring schedule includes 14 dates across India and North America, as well as playing at DGTL festival Amsterdam this March, with more dates to be announced.

Anish's unique take on club-focused productions, incorporating influences from his Goan roots in the form of featured artists and live instrumentation, has earned him support from tastemaker's including Maceo Plex, Joris Voorn and Eelke Kleijn. In this latest single, Anyasa continues to appeal to a far reaching audience, combining these influences and his electronic sound with the vocals of Luke Coulson.

DJ Rizal began spinning classics in his home town of Surabaya in 1992 before taking a two-year break to burn rubber on the tarmac, racing GP125 and 150cc modification motorcycles professionally, as a sponsored rider for Team Suzuki. A terrible accident on the track left him with serious injuries, but he was rebuilt – faster, better and stronger – in Singapore and soon after recovering reignited his DJ career with a move to Bali in 1999. Here, he established his name and reputation playing a number of guest spots until he acquired a permanent residency at Kuta’s Old Bounty, followed by Bali Globe on Jl Dhyana Pura, where he rocked the progressive beats for two years. From there he went on to spin a number of slots at Bali’s best – Double Six, Amnesia, Tu Bar, Spy Bar, Fuel and more. In 2005 he took up an ongoing residency at F-Lounge, a chilled lounge bar that caters to a unique musical niche and a discerning audience. He still gets regular slots at Bali’s famous Double Six Club, and also takes Bali beats to other island shores including Java, where he plays at the prestigious Balcony Embassy in Jakarta, and Gili Trawangan, where he holds an ad hoc residency at Dive Indonesia. Overseas incentives such as his 10-week, Western Australian tour, the Amini DJ tour in New Zealand, and a tour of Malaysia and Thailand in 2007, have gained Rizal recognition as Bali’s most famous Indonesian DJ, each tour firing him up with febrile inspiration. DJ Rizal wields control over his art as he moves from soulful house and progressive trance into slamming sets of pounding electro house, combined with fast cuts, and smooth mixing tricks. He is renowned for transcending the rigid divides between underground, overground and commercial spheres by constantly introducing fresh elements. He begins by dropping chilled grooves with a strong emphasis on instrumentation, swirling synths and downplayed vocals, blending sexy layers of sound with a driving 4/4 beat.
