DJ Rogue began his love affair with wheels of steel 18 years ago, around about the same time he first fell in love with Drum and Bass or Jungle as it was known back then.


“Jungle was really big in my home town of High Wycombe around the mid 90’s especially as we had people like Pascal, Monty, Sponge, and many more making big noises in the scene around that time”.


“My boys and I would regularly go down to the local night club in the area that was repping this sort of music called the Attic and it was then that I first fell in love with the sound”.  “For us guys to hear our favourite Hiphop, R&B, and Ragga, tunes reformatted in a completely different format but at the same still being able to keep the original soul and vibe of the original was truly amazing”.


After a couple of years Rogue decided to make the natural progression into DJing.
After blagging as much time as he could on his big bro (DJ Colin Peters) decks, Rogue decided to purchase his own decks and so the journey began.


DJ Rogue started out playing at house parties in his local area, but he really started to make a name for himself when he began studying at University and became part of the Ill Vibes Crew.


The Ill Vibes Crew and Lady K (Sublow Promotions), were responsible for the legendary Kenetix Nights which were held at the Unit 3 (formerly known as the Attic), these nights were da Rogues first opportunity to perform alongside established acts such as Andy C, Shy Fx, Ed Rush, Mampi Swift, and Pascal.


These nights were so successful that they eventually led to Sublow Promotions gaining a regular Tuesday night residency called Binary Motives, for four years at the 900 capacity students union at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University, which saw DJ Rogue performing alongside artists such as DJ Hype, DJ Fresh, and NickyBlackmarket to name but a few. These events helped bring about further dj work for da Rogue which included dj sets and residencies at Turnmills, The Buttermarket and student union venues up and down the country as well as djing overseas in Ibiza at the World Famous Es Paradis night club!

DJ Rogue is currently part of the Back 2 DA Future quarter doing serious damage in the Buckinghamshire & surrounding counties areas with their Jungle & D&B events.
