HEAT SYNC : MODERN INTRODUCTION

Romaine Christopher Plummer, more popularly known as DJ Romeo, is a native Jamaican and Calabar alum, currently pursuing a degree in communications. Romaine has always had a love for music as he recalls listening to various genres of music and sharing it with his friends. His introduction to the art of DJing came from his interaction with his cousin, DJ Criscross, who is Ragashanti’s personal DJ.  He made the active decision to pursue DJing as his career path after watching him play on the radio. DJ Criscross continues to play an impactful role in his career, being a helpful resource as he grows. His determination led him to become a member of Renaissance Disco in 2016 where he found himself playing alongside some of the biggest names in Jamaica and Internationally. 
                   Motivated by his love of music and the art of being an entertainer, Romaine works meticulously on his craft keeping his database updated with the most recent music across all genres. He hopes to improve on his emceeing skills to be a more well-rounded DJ and increase crowd engagement. In the next five years Romaine sees himself expanding his Fanbase touring across the US, Canada, Caribbean Islands and the rest of the world, showcasing his creativity in music.
