Sam Walker & Teej feat Michelle Weeks - Keep Movin On

Sam Walker's rise in the music industry has been a long time coming. From starting in his hometown of Liverpool in some of the smaller bars and clubs to touring the world every year, the last decade or so has proven somewhat of a journey for this charismatic young star.
 
In 2008 Sam joined forces with one of the worlds rising house brands, Pukka Up and after just 18 months with the brand he powered through as their main DJ both in Ibiza and on the winter tour circuit. 

Production becoming the logical next step, Sam brought the energy of his DJ sets to the Studio. Capturing the most current and eclectic sounds in his productions and incorporating them into his sets, Sam really has something special. With huge responses from the likes of David Guetta and co on his first track "Phased" and with his collaboration with German trio The Groove Guys "Horizon" hitting No 1 on Traxsource & DJ Tunes, things were already heating up. 

Sam collaborates regularly with his studio partner Teej; in fact they have become somewhat of a duo. Also coming out of their camp is “Sabre”, a project the two share with another member of their studio.

Sam’s collaborations past and present include; Ridney, Lisa Mafia, Michelle Weeks, The Str8jackets, Rockwell Noize, The Groove Guys and many more. 
 
Not one for resting on his laurels Sam was the driving force behind kick starting their record label Pukka Up Records, managing and A&Ring at the mere age of just 23. The label went on to release over 30 singles and 4 physical albums while Sam was at the helm and add to that numerous samplers released throughout the year. The label also saw a UK top 40 with a track released on their album Ibiza Loves Me ‘We Just Got Hotter”. 

Alongside all this Sam has produced and mixed two of the Pukka Up "Ibiza Loves Me" albums selling thousands of copies. The later, "Ibiza Loves Me" We Just Got Hotter saw Sam mix and produce the first Pukka Up Records mix which showcased his and the labels sound.

Keeping busy, Sam’s voice in heard by millions every week on his radio show. After just 2 years the show grew from one station, to over 20 across the world including a weekly show in the summer of 2012 on Radio City, one of the North West of England and North Wales’ biggest stations. Bringing his sound and the biggest tunes every week, Sam continues to air his show to the masses under his new radio brand.

Sam’s meteoric success’s in the last few years have seen him travel the globe from Australia to Dubai to America with a hectic European Schedule in between and add to this the 3 summers he spent in Ibiza, Sam has really become some one to watch. 

In Ibiza Sam started off playing regularly on the Pukka Up Sunset Boat Parties and went on to spend 3 years playing at Space for Carl Cox every Tuesday and Come Together (Friday’s 2010/11). In between this Sam played sets at the Together Opening Party at Amnesia on the Terrace and played their closing party in the Main room the same year. Sam has also made appearances at Es Paradise, Ocean Beach Club and Ibiza Rocks Hotel leaving him with a lot of Ibiza Experience.

In 2012 Sam signed one of his tracks with Teej “Back 2 Basics” to Extra Dry Records. From this he saw his track being supported all over the world and even making appearances on BBC Radio 1, Capital FM, MTV India and was even supported on the Swedish House Mafia’s One Last Tour.

After the success of “Back 2 Basics” Sam's relationship with Extra Dry has blossomed with an EP set for release this year. His recent rise also lead to Sam teaming up with Most Wanted Global who now manage Sam's music and bookings.
