Souljourn of House is a journey that House Music has undergone from it's very beginnings, starting with Dj Frankie Knuckles. He took music in the club scene to the next level by re-editing and adding drum machine bass kicks, to add to that hard element we all love now. That hard Umph on the dance floor, combined with transcending loops, analog synthesizers and layered with soulful vocals, took this music from the 70's all the way into the future. I open my set with a Frankie Knuckles re-edit and I continue into tracks that have a personal value to me as a Dj, a dancer and pure House Music lover. Recorded live at Misavi 7/9/2011 Enjoy. ;-)
