No new music this week 😐 I did not have time to go through new releases or promos I received this week.

BUT - I dug deep into my digital crates 💯. As I mention in the show I've accumulated over 20K tracks since I started playing digital files so you would think I could find 25 or so cuts to fill a 2 hour slot, and I did 🙌🏼

The tracks I picked for this episode are not new but will feel new to a lot of the listeners. In my opinion, these were overlooked when they came out and are still timeless and can certainly rock the dance floor.

EP-403 visits the last 30 years or so of House music that accompanied us when we were clubbing and going to undergrounds in the last 3 decades.

Here's another instalment of my series focussing on one particular artist, producer or record label and this time I've chosen one of my all time faves - The 6th Borough Project. Ever since I've discovered the underground disco and house scene I think I've rarely played a set that doesn't contain one of their tracks or remixes, such is the staying power of their productions. Sean has been a dj, music producer, radio host and party promoter for over 30 years. His unique take on house music and creative mixing have taken him all over the United States and Canada.   Sean’s successful radio show BayAreaBeatbox ran from 2011 to 2024 starting on Pure Radio Holland and ended on Underground Kollektiv Radio in the UK.  This show featured sets from Sean and hosted several artists like Paul
Johnson, James Curd, Jay Tripwire and others. Along with his own show he has also been featured on podcasts and mix shows around the globe.  Sean’s original productions and remixes have been featured on Selekta Recordings, SoulJack Digital, Deepen Sound and many others.   He has collaborated on remixes and productions with Jay Tripwire, Sen~Sei, George JJ Flores and others over the years.   
In 2024 Sean relocated back to his home town Philly and has played several gigs in the city with recent gigs in San Francisco, Oakland, San Diego and Chicago.
Sean has been featured in Chicago’s 5Magazine.
