Cool Jams Vol. 1 is a collection of beats and instrumental songs I made either for class or just for shiggles. Most of the songs are just fun music with no real motivation behind them other than random inspiration. Some songs are based on themes and other media, such as Pink Slippers being an interpretation of the poem "The Thinker' by William Carlos Williams. All songs were composed, mixed, and mastered using soundtrap, Pro Tools, and Abelton 11 Live. 

What I love most about these songs is how well they lend themselves to interpretation. Even though I have given each song a specific title I feel that any given person will have a different idea about what themes, emotions, or images these songs create. I would love to hear what anyone has to say about these songs. Not just on a good or bad job scale, but what you actually thought about them. Either way, I hope you enjoy it!
