In the 90s, Source Direct had an incredibly wide range, from heavenly atmospheric jungle to hellish techstep dnb. This mix explores that earlier first side, with tracks from 1994 to 1996 on Good Looking, Odysee, and Source Direct's own label, alongside their releases as Oblivion on Basement's Street Beats imprint. Had an unreal weekend at Art Valley. It was bloody freezing, but the fire, the people, and the energy made it so worth it. So many good yarns with good humans. ❄️🔥

This set was a bit of a departure from my usual thing - this is more daytime vibes, which I don’t often get the chance to play, and a sound that leans into the roots of what made me fall in love with drum and bass. Nostalgic and uplifting, with a few classics woven in. It was refreshing to shift gears.

What's up Junglists?!

Another classic 90's theme Jungle banger today! Really have been enjoying this style. This is supposed to be a direct sequel to my other track "Rub 'N' Dubplate" with a similar sample, this time featuring Super Cat. Someone that does not need to be introduced in the Jungle scene. Plenty more to come like this track I believe, It was really fun to make and I think it will be even more fun to play!

Seltay has played at many festivals in the UK from raves in barns to field festivals. As well as a “perfect set” at Peats Ridge Festival.
