Kicking off our new series of free releases is a double whammy of UK Garage goodness courtesy of Essex based producer MCLO. Lewis Simms AKA MCLO has been carving out a steady supply of swinging, rolling UKG bangers; with his tracks 'Gems' (Released on Supersize) and 'Da Bomb' (Self Release) putting him on our radar.
 
This 2 part release features tracks How Low Can You Go and I'll Be Fine; two atmospheric, yet punchy UK Garage groova's. We asked Mclo a few questions to get to know the upcoming producer and supplier of these two banging first tracks of the series. Dubzta - Overdue EP (SHAG 011) Out Friday 27th Nov
Another month means Another release!! Thanks again all for all the support on the Jay Ward EP as we managed another Juno Number 1!. This month we give you Dubzta, A well known Grime/Dubstep Producer from the roster over at our sister label Project Allout records. This EP has had major early support from the legend that is DJ EZ over on his NuVolve Radio including it being a Track of the Week! 

So to start off with...
1. Overdue - The Lead track from the EP, this 140bpm 4x4 Hitter brings hard hitting energy to the the release, with a melody that will be stuck in your head for weeks with beautiful piano strings in the backing it up! We are so happy to get this out there as it's been a personal favourite for a while now.
2. Out of here - Now onto Out of here, this one is a complete different style of vibe compared to Overdue, this ones a melodic 2-Step with more melodic chord structure's from Dubzta, this ones more of the early starting warm up style.
3. All Day All Night - Going from Four to the Floor heavy hitters to 2 Step Vibing we now bring you a 4x4 House banger! this ones the one to get everyone moving from there screens at home to there car radios. Simplistic vocal chops and melodies again make this a tune from the starting days of sunday scenes to 2020!
4. Clarky - The final track brings another smooth 2-Step track with classic garage sounds tucked inside, this simplistic banger has another body moving feel to it which will feel the sound systems and car radios across the country.

Well, when we saw this title land in the store we were as surprised as anyone to see that Four40 Records, one of the most active and exciting UK bass labels across the full breadth of 2020 has just turned 10 years old. This is a pretty outstanding achievement, for a label that is still at the forefront of it's sound to this very day. The compilation of course features some of the biggest releases from across the breadth of Four40's incredible catalogue of content, from the likes of Hybrid Theory, I Killed Kenny, Pavv, Limita and more, condensing ten years of musical progression into one extended tape. We also get to hear a bag of exciting new exclusives from the newer breed of the Four40 roster, including music from The Phat Controlla, Blakk Habit, Lucas Maverick, Gemi, Badger, Patrick Kane, Yozhi, George IV and more. What an incredible way to round off the year!
