Matic Smrtnik a.k.a. Spenix had his heart pumping to the beat of music since he was a kid. He fell in love with electronic music back in 2002 when he bought 'The Torture Chamber 2', a compilation album by DJ Umek. Just stumping his feet to the beat wasn't enough anymore, so in 2006 he was introduced to the turntable and started spinning electro-house music. He was hooked to it for a couple of years, yet he always had a thing for techno. As he grew so did his love for techno and in 2010 he finally realised that was his thing. He is known for his non-stopping powerful rhythm ranging from groovy and driving to hard techno. In spring of 2010 he paired up with LoMas and their back2back appearance makes the crowds go wild. Together they are known as Tehnorca (meaning 'Techno crazies') as they formed the Tehnorija team which throws techno parties at club Pržanček once a month in the capital city, Ljubljana. They are trying hard to help promote Slovene young talents as much as they are bringing in international DJs. Aside from DJing, Spenix plays around with production every now and then, and you never know, sooner or later he might just surprise us all with the next dance flloor killer
