As corny and over the top as 80's music can be, you gotta love the creativity and emotion.  It's the era of synthesizers and musical experimentation.

R.I.P. Malik Izaak Taylor AKA Phife Dawg.  Here's a mix I put together to celebrate the life of the 5 foot assassin AKA the Funky Diabetic.  From their witty, thought provoking  punchlines to their smooth, raw and jazzy production value, A Tribe Called Quest was ahead of their time in every aspect.  As I was working on this mix, it took me down memory lane and made me reflect on the tremendous impact that A Tribe Called Quest has made on hip hop and music.  I hope you dig this as much as I do.
